Family & Youth Advocacy Teams

The Gender & Family Project's Youth Advocacy Team aims to provide opportunities for transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse youth to empower themselves and gain leadership skills through community activism.

The Youth Advocacy Team offers a robust curriculum focusing on psychoeducational modules on LGBTQ+ history and activism, in an effort to help participants gain practical and applicable community organization skills. Each cycle culminates in participants engaging in a community action of their own choosing, showcasing what they have learned over the course of their experiences.
